Course Overview

This open-enrollment, self-study course is based on the archive of a webinar presented on September 7, 2017, though the collaboration of VetMedTeam and Trupanion, with the growing support of concerned companies and organizations. The webinar was the 2nd in a series of free webinars addressing compassion fatigue, burnout, ethics exhaustion, and decreased career satisfaction. Unaddressed the outcome is often career and life threatening.

This course aims to take the audience through the emotional journey of providing clarity of the struggle within the veterinary industry in finding career contentment. It will lead the audience into the concepts of creating the path for self-forgiveness, and begin the acknowledgment of the emotional barriers present for each of us. With the first step of self-acceptance, this then allows each individual to begin to develop their own personal journey to career resiliency. Finally taking the time to recognize that we are not alone and in fact 1 life connected. Finding the path back to living connected is the path to longevity in this industry. It all starts with first allowing each of us to accept ourselves and each other as we are.

An hour spent listening to Dr. Pope-Robinson outline important considerations regarding career contentment will provide food for thought well worth the time invested. Please share this educational opportunity with members of your team and profession.
