VetCE on Demand: Euthanasia Without Pain: It Can Be Done utilizes the archive of a live presentation under the same name. Pain and euthanasia don’t mix. The very definition of euthanasia includes pain-free at its core. Pain may sometimes find its way in but doing everything we can to prevent it is job #1. Ask clients what’s important to them and they’ll say their pet pain-free in the final moments. Vets say the same. This course lays the foundation for a pain-free passing each and every time. Special focus given to dogs and cats, though subthemes will emerge for all species. Let’s say ‘goodbye’ to pain during death. At the end of the course participants should be able to: explain what pet owners expect during the euthanasia procedure cite pre-euthanasia sedation and anesthesia protocols outline ways to avoid painful injections

Participants do not need to be logged into the course at specific times to attend lectures or view presentations. Participants do not need to complete the course in one sitting. Completion Deadline: Participants have 60 days from date of enrollment to view the presentation, as often as desired, as well as submit the two completion requirements outlined below. If after 60 days the completion requirements have not been submitted, the participant will be graded out of the course as incomplete.

Completion Requirements
The completion requirements for this course are: complete the quiz with a score of 80% or better - multiple attempts are permitted submit the course survey Upon submission of the final completion requirement, the participant will automatically be marked as completed and the course completion email will be sent out. The participant will have immediate access to the certificate.
