VetCE on Demand: The Physiology and Pharmacology of Euthanasia utilizes the archive of a live presentation under the same name. Euthanasia is a process requiring more than just knowing how to give an injection. As with any procedure, it’s important to know how it works and how we achieve a peaceful passing. This course examines the physiology of death and discusses how the drugs used work on the body. At the end of the course participants should be able to: explain the stages of dying recognize normal and abnormal reactions to drugs explain how euthanasia drugs accomplish death

Completion Requirements
The completion requirements for this course are: complete the quiz with a score of 80% or better - multiple attempts are permitted submit the course survey Upon submission of the final completion requirement, the participant will automatically be marked as completed and the course completion email will be sent out. The participant will have immediate access to the certificate.
