Course Focus and Learning Objectives

Wound Bed Preparation is a free veterinary CE offering that utilizes the archive of a webinar previously presented.

It focuses on utilizing the TIME acronym to implement wound bed preparation into a veterinary practice's wound management protocols. It looks at the types of tissue debridement and the importance of proper moisture balance.

After completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  • identify the 4 components involved in wound bed preparation
  • list debridement options
  • discuss the importance of moisture balance
  • recognize common barriers the impede healing
