Participant Feedback

When asked what aspects of the course liked best some responses were:

...Great information and insight for a practice. A reminder that repeating yourself is a good thing. Not everyone is hearing your message at the same time

...This speaker was great! Nice voice, super informative and organized...I didn't think the topic would be so informative, but I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you

...Use reviews for feedback and make changes if necessary- educate more, talk less

...The 4 C's of Communication were super helpful, as were the communication flow and how noise affects what we hear, see, and understand.

Course Focus and Learning Objectives

Inside & Out - The Multi-Channel Communication utilizes the archive of a live presentation under the same name.

When you’re tired of sharing your message that’s the moment it is just getting through to your audiences. People come to your veterinary practice with assumptions based on previous experiences. Set expectations with your team and your clients with constant consistent. This focus on messaging internally and externally will eliminate frustrations inside and out. During our session we will outline communication messaging, digital listen techniques and work through how to disseminate the same message to each audience across each channel online and off.

After completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  • explain how to outline a message for your practice
  • discuss the breakdown of language changes and objective of communication for internal stakeholders vs. external audiences
  • outline how to leverage digital tools to formulate messages
  • discuss how to breakdown communications for each channel: website, email, social media, signage, the phone, and internal teams
