    SAY YES! TO PET INSURANCE
    Quantity:

    Course Description
Today more than ever, clients are finding it harder and harder to say yes to medical recommendations. Unfortunately, many pet owners have seen their household budgets reduced and have less discretionary income to spend on their animals. Although their hearts may say yes, their wallets say no.

In addition to the effect this has on the patient medically, the financial inability of many pet owners to comply also affects the practice. In order to remain healthy and to continue to have the staff and resources to provide excellent medical care, a practice must have a steady flow of income.

Pet insurance can help provide the financial support that allows owners to say yes. However, pet insurance is seldom well understood by either pet owners or the veterinary practice team. No veterinary practice should recommend a service to a client that they do not understand or believe in.

Say YES! to Pet Insurance provides the veterinary practice team with the opportunity to learn about pet insurance. This course explains what pet insurance is and how it works. Perhaps most importantly, it also helps to clarify what pet insurance is not designed to do. It also provides the information needed to allow a practice team to determine their recommendation protocols from a position of knowledge.

This course was designed for every member of the practice team, not only the owner or practice manager. Besides understanding pet insurance as a product for clients, each team member needs to evaluate for their own personal needs.

Please note: This course was not designed to provide a side-by-side comparison of veterinary pet insurance companies. This course will provide the foundational knowledge to make one's own comparison.

VetMedTeam members may enroll in this course at any time and have immediate access upon enrollment. Students proceed through the course at a personal pace and, once all the completion requirements are met, will be able to access the RACE documenting completion certificate.
