Testimonials

...For me, this course was just a refresher. (since I work in Emergency setting already and see most of these things weekly) It was wonderful getting back to basics and learning some different tricks to the trade.

...I truly liked the case studies they were challenging but allowed the content of the course to be utilized and ellaborated on.

...The course was a bit above my level of general knowledge since my title is only an office assistant. However, I am very encouraged to learn more and be more valuable to my practice.

... General review of common emergencies. One example is that I was reminded to be concerned about blood potassium levels in cats with a urinary obstruction.

...The emergency scenarios were interesting and challenging

...The aspects I liked best about the course was actually using the information on case studies. The case studies set up scenarios of common emergencies and they made you think and use what you learned throughout the course. The case studies pertained to common emergencies seen daily and I now feel more confident in dealing with these emergencies.

...What questions to ask a client over the telephone to access the emergency. What to look for with regards to shock.
