...The workbook type activities benefited me the most because I retain material best when I can note take along with the reading assignments.
...I liked the fact the information is at hand. I can read it and think about it. I like that it gives examples, asks questions and it really makes me think about what I said, might have said or will say in the future. I feel it is a good learning tool and think I will try to take a few other courses to help broaden my views and educate myself more.
...How to balance work and personal life without guilt! That chapter was especially helpful to me in really sitting down to realize that a good balance in life makes you much more at ease and happy once you figure out what works best for you. I also enjoyed the preparing for conflict with resolution as the goal. I have a few techs that it is difficult to discuss issues with them and this really gave me some great ideas as to how to make it easier and ultimately effective.
...The goal setting exercise was most useful to me as it is something I have I needed to do but have not made the time. I also feel that the communication section will be very helpful to me as a supervisor.
...I really enjoyed the exercises. It really made me think about my priorities.
...The goal setting parts really helped me define why I dig myself into ruts sometimes with feeling that I am working constantly but not gaining any ground. I really appreciated the exercises that helped me identify what hold me back from being positive and how to change it. |
