    Testimonials
... It helped me to realize the importance I have in the clinic and the need for me to step up my level of client education regarding veterinary dentistry.

...building and marketing dental services were most beneficial to me. It's hard for me to get clients to understand how important dental work can be to their pets health and I feel this course has helped me immensly.

... A great refresher course from tech school and also had a lot of new information that wasn't explored in tech school. Overall a GREAT course that I would recommend to others.

... Important aspects of the different levels of oral care. Breakdown of services and that the whole staff is responsible for a successful dental program.

... Increased my knowledge tremendously about the importance of dental care for your pets especially the 'in home' care. I really enjoyed the survey results (Univ. of Penn.) discussing compliance (Chapter 5). Anytime percentages were used, it helped paint the picture (and what a picture!) Loved this class - feel fired-up about spreading the word! Thanks!

... I found all aspects of this course to be beneficial and motivating. The course moderator Vickie Byard is awesome, quick to respond, thought provoking, and enthusiastic.

I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 1981. Almost 20 years of that have been spent at Rau Animal Hospital in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Currently, at work, I hold the title of In-patient Care Supervisor/Dentistry Coordinator. Professionally, I hold the title of President-elect of the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians.

As of the last couple years, I've been privileged to be asked to speak at national veterinary conferences and I hope to continue.

I've written a chapter on Computer Applications in Veterinary Medicine for the Clinical Textbook for Veterinary Technicians due to be released in January 2005 and have written an article for the up-coming February issue of Journal of Veterinary Technology.

I also enjoy the interaction with technicians interested in veterinary dentistry as co-moderator on the VetMedTeam Dentistry Boards.

As always, I look forward to spreading the word of the importance of dentistry in relation to animals.
