Participation in this CE offering is available to members of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America.
Continuing education credits are available in each issue of The NAVTA Journal. Credits are issued by Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. There are four reviewed articles per journal.
NAVTA members may submit for continuing education credit for one year after publication of this article. Enrollment for this article may be submitted any time up to August 25, 2010. The examination itself must be taken by August 31, 2010.

| Once enrollment is complete, the student will have access to the examination until the examination is submitted or until the article end date arrives - whichever is later. The exam does not need to be taken immediately upon receipt of the exam welcome email. |
All 10 examination questions must be answered correctly. An examination with a score less than 100% cannot be submitted to Michigan State for credit. You may submit another enrollment if you wish to retake the examination.
The examination must be submitted by August 31, 2010 for credit. |
Participants in this CE offering must be members of NAVTA
NAVTA offers three levels of membership:
- Active membership is open to individuals who are graduates of an AVMA-accredited program and/or credentialed as a veterinary technician
- Associate membership is open to veterinary technicians residing outside the USA, assistants who support the goals of NAVTA, and veterinarians. An Associate member may not vote or hold an elected office.
- Student Membership is open to full-time students in AVMA-accredited veterinary technology programs for up to 3 years
