    Testimonials
... the course material was extremely relevant and was helpful as long as I was willing to do the assignments. I was enlightened by what I found in regard to using the materials directly in my work setting.

... This was my first online course through VetMed and I thought it was easy to use and well put together. The instructor was very helpful and provided good feedback. I learned how to create a benchmarking routine and will continue to use this process to help our practice grow. Thank you!

... I really like using our numbers to figure the assignments. The results were very interesting.

    Student Login Requirements

VetMedTeam courses are asynchronous - they do not contain real time components. Students log in while a course is in session at times convenient to personal schedules.

    Course Completion Requirements

    • Participation in instructor lead topics for each of the units
    • Grade of 80% or better on the final exam
    • Submission of the course survey

    Recommended Student Criteria

This course is appropriate for any member of the veterinary practice team who seeks to have a greater understanding of the topics covered.

    Continuing Education Credits

This course is applicable for 5 CE credits toward the continuing education requirement for the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager program offered by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA).

VetMedTeam does not submit management courses to RACE as this organization is structured to provide credits for medical/clinical course, behavior related courses, and other similar topics. Also, most states severely limit or decline the use of management topic credits for veterinary or technician license renewal.

Instead, VetMedTeam submits management and customer service related courses to the VHMA for review and approval. CVPMs (Certified Veterinary Practice Managers) and CVPM candidates may use our VHMA approved courses for required CE credits for either sitting the examination or maintaining certification.
