... I loved the common size analysis. It will enable me to give this information to the owner without consulting outside help. We will be more concise and I can pull this information out of our accounting program more easily.
... I thought the instructor was wonderful. Answers to questions, comments, etc were practically immediate. Those answers were always focused, supportive and informative. The course materials were well prepared and easy to break down into smaller units so I could even study some during work hours and not feel I was compromising my job duties.
... I enjoyed being to work at my own pace and time. The discussion boards were interesting. I liked being able to see how others responded to the questions. I liked the fact that our opinions mattered and there was not one right answer.
... The second assignment - having to perform a common size analysis on our P&L for the hospital. Having to do this gave me experience, I got to learn from the other students and the instructor, and it was something valuable that I could directly use within our hospital
... I like the sample P&L's and I like being able to read other managers' posts so that I can benchmark
... The interaction with the instructor was great. She was quick with responses and helped me figure out what I did wrong without giving me the answers. |

|
This course is appropriate for any member of the veterinary practice team who seeks to have a greater understanding of the topics covered. |
This course is applicable for 5 CE credits toward the continuing education requirement for the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager program offered by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA).
VetMedTeam does not submit management courses to RACE as this organization is structured to provide credits for medical/clinical course, behavior related courses, and other similar topics. Also, most states severely limit or decline the use of management topic credits for veterinary or technician license renewal.
Instead, VetMedTeam submits management and customer service related courses to the VHMA for review and approval. CVPMs (Certified Veterinary Practice Managers) and CVPM candidates may use our VHMA approved courses for required CE credits for either sitting the examination or maintaining certification.
