| Justin Chandlr, A.A.S., CVT, VetMedTeam Operations Assistant |
Justin started working in the veterinary field in 1998 as a veterinary assistant. Through a combination of mentoring, continuing education, and formal schooling, he has expanded his skills and tried to promote the mentality that you can never stop learning in this profession. In 2004, he went back to school to earn a degree in Veterinary Technology; in December 2007 he graduated from San Juan College in New Mexico. Currently Justin works as an overnight technician at a 24 hour emergency & specialty practice in New Jersey. His interests include emergency medicine, radiology, and anesthesia/surgery.
He found VetMedTeam in 2002, and was immediately drawn to the variety and immense value of the CE courses that were offered here. He soon became a CE junkie, taking as many courses as he could fit into his busy schedule. He later volunteered with VetMedTeam as the editor of the Roster Board welcoming new members to VetMedTeam, and also became a VetMedTeaMate. In 2003, he joined the staff of VetMedTeam, providing assistance to other staff members wherever was needed.
Currently, Justin assists the Director of Operations with various projects around the website as needed, including maintaining the library of web links. His dedication to education has remained vigilant. He believes the value of education cannot be underestimated. The more each member of the veterinary healthcare team knows, the more we can all contribute to the care and success of our patients |
