| David Tollon, DVM, MBA: Owner of VetMedTeam |
A graduate of the Ohio State University veterinary school, David Tollon has been involved in private practice and veterinary technology for the past 28 years. He is the owner of Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital in Seminole, Fl. He has also had the opportunity to be an instructor and past Director of the veterinary technician program at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Fl. As a result of these experiences, he has learned the extreme importance of the veterinary heathcare team in veterinary medicine. David is also a member of the Council of 100 of the American Animal Hospital Association, a member of the Advisory Committee to the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida and a past board member Veterinary Hospital Manager's Association. He is also past president of the Pinellas Animal Foundation and is a Paul Harris fellow in Rotary International. He is married and has two children. His hobbies include running, boating and traveling. |

| Pat Lynch: Director of Operations |
Pat worked for ten years as the veterinary assistant and practice manager for a small animal housecall doctor in New York State. During those years she came to understand the issues facing veterinary medicine - including the education and utilization of staff. She was there at the birth of VetMedTeam in January 1999 and since then has applied her communication, organization, and computer skills to the growth and success of the website. Pat is responsible for day-to-day operations of VetMedTeam as well as development of future features and endevors. As Director of Operations she works closely with our IT developer to construct and improve website features.
While living in New York Pat was very involved as an adult member of the Boy Scouts of America. She was a member of camp staff, serving as Trading Post Director and Camp Commissioner as well as functioning as an Assistant Camp Director. Pat participated in many membership training seminars and earned one of the highest training designations - Wood Badge. Pat then served as a member of the training staff in the next Wood Badge session. In addition, she was a member of the Order of the Arrow and earned the highest designation - Vigil Honor. Pat worked for many years with her local Humane Society, serving as the Treasurer and participating in a number of Fund Raising programs. |

| Shelby Terry-Wolfe, M.Ag., CVPM: CE Operations Assistant – Practice Management |
Shelby started in veterinary medicine in 1989 as a kennel assistant at a small animal hospital while in college. She also worked as a receptionist and veterinary assistant and then graduated in 1994 with a BS in Animal Science from the University of Florida. At that point she moved to Flagler County, Florida and accepted a position as the 4-H/Livestock Agent with the County. In this position, she oversaw the Emergency Support Function that pertains to animals during the “Firestorm of 98’” where the county was experiencing mass wildfires. Five years later she joined her current practice as Practice Manager of Flagler Animal Hospital. She has been with this practice since 1998 and is the Hospital Administrator. In 2001 she obtained a Masters Degree in Agricultural Education & Communication. She obtained the designation of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager in 2004. Something that she says is invaluable. Throughout her education and experiences she has realized that the Veterinary Hospital Manager is an extremely important and critical position to the success of a practice. Shelby joined VetMedTeam in 2008 and is very excited to be a part of such a great team. She is looking forward to helping other managers develop their potential through VetMedTeam courses. Shelby is a member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and her local Chamber of Commerce. Shelby is married to a very supportive husband, has 2 wonderful children, 4 cats and 1 dog. She loves to go to the beach, offshore fishing, and camping |
